Tow Vehicle Setup + Off-Grid Camper Power

Solar Van Man is not a general hitch-only shop. We handle tow vehicle work when it supports a camper, trailer, charge-line, lithium, solar, braking, suspension, or off-grid power project.
Hitches, brake controllers, 7-pin wiring, suspension support, dedicated trailer charge lines, DC-DC charging, lithium batteries, solar, and Victron-based camper power systems.
The seven-pin charging wire is not designed to charge LFP batteries. For lithium camper charging, Solar Van Man installs dedicated positive and negative charge wiring from the tow vehicle battery to a serviceable high-current connector, then integrates the trailer-side Victron Orion DC-DC chargers, battery protection, monitoring, and fused power distribution.
Your camper starts at the tow vehicle. Solar Van Man sets up the tow vehicle and trailer as one connected system: safe towing, proper braking, load support, clean trailer charging, and off-grid camper power.

Trailer Types

The Tow Vehicle Is Part of the Camper Power System

A brake controller, 7-pin outlet, airbag kit, hitch setup, and lithium battery upgrade are not separate decisions when a camper is involved. The tow vehicle needs to stop the trailer, carry the tongue weight, power the connector, and charge the camper correctly.

Solar Van Man sets up the tow vehicle and camper together so the whole system is safer, cleaner, and easier to service.
